Mosetta & Kelvin How we met? My son was attending the church where Kelvin was the Youth Pastor at the time. He was always so interested in the things that concerned my son. Well I started attending the church later on. Well about a year or so later....Mayfest was going on downtown Tulsa and I wanted to go, so I called him to see if he would go with me just for fun as friends, as church members. He told me that he was just about to take a nap. Well about five minutes later he called me back and asked if I still wanted to go because he could not sleep. So I said yes of course. Well that was about three years ago. Well this year the day before Valentines Day he asked me to marry him at church. Well everyone at church knew but me that he was going to ask me. He even called my parents who live In Mississippi the Saturday before so they were waiting by the phone for me to call them after church. I have two daughters and when we arrived at church he told them his plans to ask me to marry him. My oldest daughter started crying because she was so excited. My youngest daughter just wanted to know if she could be a flower girl. When I arrived at church he asked me to help him pass out flowers after church to the women of the church for Valentine's Day. So after we passed out the flowers he asked me to have a seat on the front row which I thought was kinda strange but I did it anyway. Well he started talking about the couple that he had married a couple of weeks before and how important marriage and family is. He told me that he had talked to my father and told him his plans. Then he looked at me with tears in his eyes and got on one knee asked me to be his wife. I was in such a state of shock that I could only mouthed the word yes because my voice was not working at all. He did all of this in front of the whole church. Kelvin is my best friend, my prayer partner and everything I have ever dreamed of. I truly thank God for bring the two of us together.
