Alicia and David - January 17, 2004

Alicia and David were in the same 6th grade class, but didn't really begin to know each other until they were reunited on the school bus in the 9th grade. They became best friends and started dating a year later.

They have been together ever since! "Check yes or no" is "their song." A good choice given all their school years together.

Alicia and David both are loyal Pepsi fans except David admits to drinking Mountain Dew "for those slow days."

Alicia chose the Daisy as her favorite flower while David chose the rose. When David proposed, Alicia followed a trail of rose petals to a beautifully decorated room with music, food, and, of course, David.

When it comes to music, Alicia listens to 95.5, and would dance to "Chicken Dance!" while David listens to 98.5 and declares, "I don't dance."

Alicia's ideal date would be "just spending time together talking or looking at the stars." David's ideal date includes having fun. What does David consider "fun?" Riding a motorcycle or to go 4-wheeling. Alicia's idea of fun is to rollerblade or do the scrapbook thing. For Alicia and David a relaxed evening includes watching a movie, or as Alicia describes it, "Watching David watch a movie with me (while he gives me a foot rub!)."

And what movies will you find them watching? Alicia has selected as the best movie last year, "Princess Diaries" - David, "Gone in 60 seconds." OK, so what is the best movie of all time? Alicia answers, "Beauty and the Beast" and David offers "Smokey and the Bandit." And the most romantic movie they've seen? Alicia - "Bed of Roses," David-"Run Away Bride."

Alicia's favorite restaurant is Zios, and David likes TGI Fridays. But Alicia could enjoy Subway in a hurry and David would op for Taco Bueno.

What type of gifts do they like to receive? Alicia would like anything creative or useful and David would like money, or anything with a motor!
