I Am an Usher...Now What Do I Do?

		First, congradulations on sitting here and attempting to do the responsible thing. Don’t worry, as an Usher, you won’t miss out on any fun, and after you read the few tips below, you will feel somewhat confident.

This is not too demanding a job, and you too can be a hit with the guests! Just like the Boy Scouts, “Always be prepared.” For you, that means trying on your tux the day before the wedding.
You need to make sure everything is there and that it fits. Wear Black Socks. Walmart is usually open, buy black socks...before the wedding.
1. Know where the restrooms are located.
2. Offer ladies your right arm.
3. Walk shoulder to shoulder with single men.
4. Offer oldest lady your arm --others will follow.
5. Stay by isle until lady is seated.
6. When in front wiggle your toes and flex your knees.
7. No gum.
8. Hands--down at sides, not in your pockets.
9. Wear black socks.
