Tasha describes how they met this way, "We actually met on the volleyball courts at NSU in Tahlequah. He was shy and I was loud and outgoing. I had a "crush" on him, but didn't say anything. Then one day we were both out and happened to meet up through mutual friends. Then we began dating!"

And what is an ideal date? Tasha dreams about a night boat ride in Venice, Italy. Jose would build a campfire on the beach by the ocean. Tasha describes a relaxed evening as sitting on the couch watching TV and eating EL Zarape’s chips and salsa. Jose relaxes by watching movies and eating popcorn.

When talking about "most romantic moment shared," Tasha mentions the marriage proposal. Jose describes times when they stay up all night talking.

When Tasha and Jose want to have fun, they play volleyball.

The bride’s favorite movie from last year was Oceans 11, and the groom’s was BarberShop. Tasha’s favorite movie of all time is Superstar! and Jose’s is Born in East L.A. They agree that the best romantic movie is Fools Rush In. When it comes to watching TV, you will find Tasha catching Supermarket Sweep! and Jose’s remote will take him to ESPN/Trading Spaces.

Peach and orange roses, Saturdays, the color green and Diet Pepsi are all Tasha’s favorites. Jose likes Lilies, all colors; Fridays, the color blue and Pink Lemonade.

This couple’s favorite restaurant is El Zarape in Tahlequah. But, when in a hurry Tasha will pull into Taco Bueno and Jose will head for the golden arches.

Love is? "Jose Feles Salinas," answers Tasha. "When you can’t go a day without seeing her face," responds Jose.
